Sarah + Adam | Austin Engagements

Yup! That’s right! Sarah and Adam.  Fun, huh?

We met Sarah and Adam early this year to chat about their wedding at the Palm Door and instantly felt like we were old friends. Maybe it was one of those early e-mails where Sarah interchanged the words “kids” with “pugs” (who doesn’t love those furry family members?) or perhaps it was hearing their original and inspiring ideas for their wedding this coming December, that made us feel instantly connected.  These two march to their own beat in a fantastic, “why not do things in a new way?” sort of style.  They are playful and fun loving with each other and have such genuine spirits that it’s hard to not want to spend more time with them. (…which might be why we couldn’t stop taking photos of them!)  So, we (Sarah and Adam) are proud to introduce Sarah and Adam.  :)  Here’s a few favorites from their Austin engagement session.

davina - Um, so, these are freaking awesome! Incredible work you two!

Eric F. - So, that first shot…and the second shot….the first 3 shots, along with number 5 and 6. Man, I love them all!! You two never cease to amaze me with your mad creative composition skills!! *bows*

Sara + Jonathan | Austin Wedding

As we mentioned in Sara & Jonathan’s Engagements post, it’s impossible to not fall in love with these two! Their energy is contagious, their love is real, and the minute they’re gone you wish you were hanging out again.

After getting to know these two better at their engagements, we could hardly wait to see how their wedding would reflect who they are, and we were excited to meet the people in their lives! As expected, their family and friends were open, warm, inviting and just plain FUN. Their wedding was perfect from start to finish and we are super excited to share some of our favorite photos from that fantastic day!

francis joseph - Every single frame is absolutely gorgeous! I think my heart exploded.

Jenny DeMarco - Wow! Seriously awesomeness here guys.

Megan - Wow, you two. I am speechless. This is truly incredible work. I have no idea how to respond. It’s one of the my favorite weddings you have photographed. Truly some of your best work. I just love it! Her entrance into the ceremony and that first dance shot are killer. You found so many great perspectives and compositions! SUCH AMAZING WORK!

Micah - Hands down best work I’ve seen from you two. Incredible moments, explosions of energy, clever compositions! B&W walking down the isle from the back? YES! Fist dance wide shot?! YES! Dancing?! YES! Eyes welling up with tears (mine). YES! YES! (one for each eye). This work inspires me to keep pushing and reminds me why I love storytelling. Bravo!

Carolyn + Tom | Savannah GA, Engagements

The world is a small place… and I have proof. When I was backpacking around Europe about 10 years ago I randomly bumped into Carolyn on a train from Paris to Rome. We were each with a group of friends and decided to team up and stick together for some of our Italian adventures. Ever since then we have sporadically become pen pals several times. The world was determined to keep us connected.

I remember we had just started our photography business a few years ago when Carolyn and I got in contact again. She and her wonderful fiancé Tom have been some of our biggest supporters from the very beginning and followed our work closely. Even before they were engaged Carolyn would write me emails about certain pictures or how much she loved certain posts, but nothing was more exciting than the email that said “WE ARE ENGAGED!!”

So skip to now, we are so incredibly excited and honored to be a part of the biggest day of their lives! Thank you two for everything, the hospitality, the kindness, and your amazing generosity. We can’t wait to see you back in Savannah in a couple weeks!!!!  Until then, here are some of our favorites from their engagement session.

Eric - oooooooooooh, the negative space cropped legs on the coblestone; so, so, so much win :) Great job you two!

Colin - WOW WOW WOW! Absolutely LOVE #1, #4, and #7. But, #8 is freaking crazy good. What a lovely couple! Excellent work as always you amazing InTandem’s!

Micah - Holy crap!! Some of your best work yet!

Thao - How did I miss these??? I love love love the last one… LOVE!

Trish + Joe | Anniversary Session

The wedding photography community is pretty fantastic.  Austin, in particular, boasts a tightly knit community of fellow photographers that meets up regularly, shares studio spaces, and offers advice and feedback on topics wedding photography-related.  Adam and I had no idea of the community of photographers when we began photographing weddings, and we couldn’t feel more blessed to be a part of it.  Trish Finfer is one of those fantastic fellow photogs who we’d met and felt akin to via the twittersphere and facebook, and keeping up with her fantastic work (click here to see!).  We couldn’t have been more pleasantly surprised when we met her and her hubby in person for an “anniversary shoot” at how comfortable and easygoing they both were to be around.  :)  With lots of laughter and an up-for-anything attitude, Trish and Joe made our afternoon shoot feel more like hanging out with old friends.  Here’s a few of our favorites from this lovely afternoon!

micah - LOVE numbers 1 & 8!! Beautiful beautiful work you two!

Brittany - Well, thanks. I’m going to give up on photography now and pursue professional knitting after seeing that first image. These are so amazing. Trish and Joe you are far too sweet together!

Elissa - Fabulous!! I love #7 :)

Sam - If the world ends this year like the Mayans predict, I won’t fret because my mind will have been already blown by this session. I loves it so much it makes me want to have Canasians.

stephanie - your photos literally blow me away every time. like. they are AMAZING. Always are. I aspire for my photos to someday be as creatively framed and captured as yours are.

Caroline Anne - Trish you look FABULOUS!

Trish - You guys seriously blow my mind – how can so much talent & goodness live inside two people? Thank you for these beautiful memories, and thanks to everyone above for the sweet comments.

Derren - I’m with Micah–the first and last images are awesome! Loving it. Really nice shoot guys!!

Jenny DeMarco - I must be like the worst friend ever because I am just now seeing these. Trish…you look beautiful! And Adam and Sarah…just freaking wow! You caught some many happy smiley moments. I love all of you guys and it just warms my heart to see these images.
