I feel like I’m posting the wedding photos for old friends on this one…  Our experience shooting Sasame and Charlie’s wedding in D.C. was similar to our first meeting with them on skype.  Lots of laughter and when we were finished, Adam and I couldn’t stop talking about how awesome they were.  :)  We were counting down the days until meeting them in person, seeing (and cheering!) for their hitching celebration, and joining afterward for some camera-free dancing with the whole gang.  I think that in a lot of ways Sasame and Charlie had our dream wedding- small and informal, held at the Spanish Steps down the street from their place.  They followed with a DANCING reception at Hillyer Art Space, just a few blocks away. If that doesn’t sound perfect enough-they were escorted (New Orleans style) by a brass band the few blocks to their reception.  Anyone who knows us knows… we are all about New Orleans Jazz, and it is often in the background as the playlist to our lives, so paired with dancing guests and lots of honking horns, this was perfection!  :)  But like we mentioned- it was more perfect for us because we felt like we had known these two for longer, and are thrilled to have met them in time to see their wedding!  So, here’s a few favorites from Sasame and Charlie’s wedding in DC!
