It’s funny how the world works… Alex (the stunning bride from a few posts back) and I went to highschool together, and spent one awesome summer (97ish) at splashtown on a daily basis, but feel out of touch as friends sometimes do. A little over a year ago we ran into each other again, and talked about what was going on in our lives these days (wedding photography), and less than a week later she was engaged (YAY!). Call it fate, call it coincidence… either way, I’ll call it a blessing. Alex and Tim’s wedding was everything a wedding should be- classy, airy, unique and intimate with some fabulous dancing and celebration. They were married in the small courtyard in Town Greene with a colorful mosaic floor and the reception was one of the first (of many, I’m sure) at the boutique AVIA hotel in Market Street. Family entered to Bittersweet Symphony and the beautiful bride walked down the isle to “Everybody’s Free” (you know the song… from the Leo and Claire version of Romeo and Juliet!) and violins, and a lavender toss at the first kiss. Eco taxi’s shuttled the guests back to the hotel, while a vintage car brought the happy couple. EVERYTHING about this wedding was perfect. It chokes me up just thinking about it.
So, dear friend, thank you for including us in your perfect day, and for making your wedding such a spectacular one. :)
