Before sitting down to write this post, sharing how wonderful Jane and Jon are,  I sifted through a few sites online about kindess, and authenticity, and all the other admirable qualities I thought I’d highlight about them in search of the perfect quotation to describe Jane and Jon.  ( I knew that I couldn’t take on this task myself.)  Unfortunately, I couldn’t find one quote that gave any snippet of justice of how wonderful these two are.  Just thinking of them now warms my heart in a way that makes me smile, but also leaves me wordless.  Perhaps some of the most genuine people we’ve had the pleasure of meeting, Jane and Jon celebrated their wedding with traditions that honored their family and friends (a friend of theirs actually made Jane’s dresses!) but somehow were able to sidestep the drama and pettiness that tends to attach itself to significant events, like weddings.  Everything about this day was real.  Jane and Jon got ready together, exchanging quick “omg, it’s happening!” glances from time to time, and spoke heartfelt, personal vows during the ceremony that didn’t leave a dry eye.  Toasts given by family took people from tears to laughter outbursts in mere seconds, and  and the dance floor was quite literally vibrating from all the dancing.  It’s one of those days that left us more energized and excited for life than when we arrived.

Jane and Jon’s love for each other, and for their circle of friends and family is inspiring.  They make us want to be a better people, and for that we are so grateful to them.  :)
