So ladies and gents, meet Melissa and Ivan (also photographers! see their work here!) and take a look at their lovely Miami wedding, of which we were so happy to be a part.  Thanks to you both for treating us like family!

Lindsay and Lewis married at Horseshoe Bay with one of the most beautiful weddings we’ve had the pleasure of shooting. It was classic, personal, and chock full of smiling faces of family and friends all celebrating the happy couple.  To be honest, I’m not sure if we’ve ever seen a celebration like this- with sidesplitting toasts at the rehearsal dinner, a packed dance floor, and one of the most spirited bride+groom impromptu performances we’ve ever seen, and an enthusiastic crowd cheering them on.  Thank you to the amazing band Sauce, and the fantastic Clink Events and their talented team, and the amazing Kevin Von Qualen (and the many others who contributed to this fantastic event).  We’re so excited to share some of our favorites from Lewis and Lindsay’s wedding at Horseshoe Bay!

When we first heard from Jackie and Ben almost a year ago, we immediately felt a kinship to them, even if just through emails and a quick phone call.  They were planning their DIY wedding at Green Pastures in South Austin, and we were lucky enough to make our way into their plans.  :)  I (Sarah, here) can honestly say that I’m a bit sad that it’s over… since Jackie had become one of those pen-pals where I could share favorite web sites, and gain the recommendations of their favorite NYC spots (since they live in Hoboken). We had even planned to stay with them on our trip there this summer, until Hurricane Irene flooded the public transport.  They are grounded, but playful; super sweet but oh so genuine, and their wedding was the kind that makes you remember what it’s all about.  Love, family and dancing.  We’re so proud to share some favorites from their wedding with you!  Ladies and gents… Jackie and Ben!

Sarah and I love shooting in just about any weather condition: hot, cold, sunny, cloudy, rainy, windy, day or night…  it always leads to new challenges and different opportunities. This particular engagement session, with the lovely Kate & Drew, was taken on one of the coldest days we’ve seen all year, and it made for some awesome photos. We are always trying to get our couples as close as possible and with the weather being in the 30′s, it was hard to pull these two apart!! Thank you two again for being such troopers and we can’t wait for your wedding in the much warmer month of May

Nothing keeps things more simple, intimate, and fun than a backyard wedding, and Ann and Tim’s was one for the books.  After uprooting trees and re-landscaping the backyard of their lovely Austin home to fit as many of their friends as possible, their wedding landed on the rainy weekend that ended the record-breaking drought that Texas saw this summer.  Quick with tents and tarps, and hay (for the mud) they created one of the most beautiful and spirited weddings we’ve seen this year… outside, as planned.  We’re so excited to share some of our favorites from this absolutely perfect backyard wedding.

Lindsay and Lewis get married today, and we couldn’t be more excited to be the ones documenting their wedding day and celebrating their first moments of marriage!  To share the festivities with the you, we’re posting this juuuuust as the ceremony is beginning!  So, as you look at these photos, send some love their way because TODAY they commit their lives to each other and party with friends and family in celebration.
