Lindsay + Blair | Engagements

We’ve been SO excited to shoot Lindsey and Blair’s engagements since early summer, and we are even more excited now for their wedding in the Spring! :) We met these two at Mayfield Park near Laguna Gloria and watching Adam sneak away to try and capture the peacocks (though unsuccessful) was more than enough reason to head back for entertainment reasons alone. :) Lindsey and Blair were so sweet with each other, and were quick to follow the “snuggle up” direction from Adam and I, even when we’d follow that up with “in the cactus” or “on this ledge” and are genuinely excited for some unique pictures that are different from the ordinary. What more could we ask for? So, here they are… Lindsey and Blair!

Amy + Jonathan | Engagements

Sarah and I love shooting in historical towns, and Brenham is by far one of the best! So when Amy and Jonathan recommended it we were pumped! Cool buildings, awesome textures everywhere and a super fun laid back couple… How can you go wrong? Your engagement session was a blast and we can’t wait for your wedding in March!

Elle + Andrew | Engagements

Let me introduce you to Andrew & Elle, A.K.A. two of the coolest humans alive! Their engagement session was a blast and I have been soooooooooo excited to get these pictures on the blog!

We decided to shoot at White Rock Lake in Dallas where Andrew had proposed, and in fact, the giant shadow wrapping them up (picture above) is right were he popped the question :) Thank you guys for being so much fun, super relaxed and for taking us out for delicious pizza afterwards! mmmmmm pizza. Can’t wait to shoot your wedding in January!

Thao + Tim | Engagements

Adam and I couldn’t be more excited to share one of our FAVORITE engagement sessions yet. From the beginning of just talking with Thao, these two seemed like tons of fun and all about the pictures-which of course, we loooove . In one of her first emails to us, she sent a photo of her with all her friends high in the air, jumping their hearts out saying “i’m the one in the back in the…” . Too adorable.

And they were such champs, driving in from Houston, hiking to the top of enchanted rock (not the easiest.. and in a dress!), and even packed us some vietnamese po-boys to snack on. Thao and Tim couldn’t have been more of a joy. With her radiating smile and the soon-to-be-hubby making her laugh constantly, taking photos of them was easy as pie. They were completely themselves, and as comfortable as can be in front of the camera. (Thao is probably one of the only photographers I’ve met who feels completely comfortable on the other side of the lens!) We cant’t even wait until their wedding next spring! So, without further ado… here they are! …Thao and Tim!!
