Ashley + Patrick | June 18th, 2010 | Courtyard at St. James Place

Ashley and Patrick are two of the most down-to-earth, fun loving people we’ve ever seen getting married.  Nothing was a big bridezilla deal, and all they cared about was that they were going to be married after all of it was said and done.  A lot of people told us how much they loved their…

Keyli + Colin | Sneak Peek

We are so excited! Not five minutes after walking in the door from our long drive from Colorado, Sarah and I were sitting at our computer flipping through the photos from Keyli and Colin’s wedding in Denver this past Saturday. Colin has been one of my best friends for 10+ years, and it was an honor to be a best man at his wedding. It was fun (and weird) seeing Sarah work her butt off while I was drinking mimosas and making toasts, but because Colin and Keyli are such dear friends , I couldn’t help but snag a camera every once in a while and take a few pics of my own, and we definitely weren’t expecting to have a full-out bride and groom session after the wedding (who has the energy for that after getting married? ), but we’re SO excited that we did. These are some of our favorite pics ever!!! So, cheers again to the happy couple :) and here’s to many more “national days of tequila” in the future.

Shelby+Nikkholai | Engagement Session | Gruene, TX

About two weeks ago we posted a sneak peek for one of our FAVORITE engagement sessions ever. With Nikkholai being in the armed forces, we were limited when it came to scheduling the shoot, but the 5th of July turned out to be a beautiful surprise of red, white, and blue… quite fitting and appropriate. :) There were SO SO SO many fun photos of these two, that we had to share more than our normal handful. Seeing as how they are so comfortable snuggling up, we are p-u-m-p-e-d PUMPED for their wedding next year. I’ve heard rumors that there will be a big parachute involved too… but I’m trying to not get my hopes up. So… thank you both for being so madly in love. We hope you love these as much as we do.

Christine + Dale | The Woodlands, Tx | Robb Chapel and The Woodlands Country Club

Right off the bat, I have to say that the flower girl at Christine and Dale’s wedding was probably one of the most adorable I’ve ever seen, but perhaps I’m partial to redheads. (ummm yes. one of my own flower girls was a redhead, in fact!) Her tangible redheaded cuteness, Christine and Dale’s laid back mentality and EXCELLENT dancing skills, along with the wonderful parents ( Hi Susan!) made this wedding a total joy. Christine chose her “something blue” to be some fabulous shoes, and her borrowed (and old?)- her grandmother’s pearls. Her garter was even made from her mother’s veil! Everything about this wedding was meaningful and magical (including Christine’s surprise performance during the reception). Thanks to you both, and your families. We wish you all the happiness in the world. :)
